New Supplier – Woodland Reared Pork

Tremendous exciting news as a new Co-operative Farmer joins our Supply Chain. For the last ten months we have been working very closely with Frasier, a passionate and devoted Free Range Pork Farmer from Escrick. His ethos is very much a replica to ours here at R & J, not to mention the end product being so beautiful.

Our first batch of Woodland Reared Gloucester Old Spot and Saddle Back Pigs were available a few weeks ago and the feedback that we received was tremendous. Currently the availability is very much dependent on the small size of the herd and only enables fully finished gilt pigs to be obtainable on two monthly intervals. As the time progresses throughout the year Frasier is continuing to increase his herd size aiming to ultimately be able to supply a weekly stock of this pork.
