Flat Iron Steaks are growing in popularity.
The flat iron is a very tender and flavoursome steak. It has a lot of marbling aiding the flavour profile. A few steak houses have recently focused on the Flat Iron steak and it is now sought after by many a chef and home cook.
The steaks are taken from the feather blade, which is a muscle nestled in the shoulder of the animal. Our butchers use clever seam butchery and skill to produce these cost-effective steaks.
Yorkshire beef is some of the finest in the whole of the UK. Selected from herds across this large historic county. Here at Waterford Farm, we farm our own special Grass-fed, slow grown cattle. We farm and age native and continental breeds. As a result, we can meet the various demands of our chefs.

Our Recommended Cooking Instructions:
- Bring your Flat Iron Steaks to room temperature
- Season the steaks with Salt and Pepper
- Grill or pan-fry the steak for 4 minutes aside
- Rest and enjoy

We actually sent you (we thought)? an email yesterday relating to our feelings/views etc. However, we had our first of your flat iron steaks with chips and a bottle of Red wine Friday evening 1st Nov. I followed a Yorkshire cooking instruction and served it, after giving it the finger test! on wooden serving platters (after slicing it through into thinnish strips). We wanted it medium rare and that was exactly what we got. It was absolutely delicious, and I was very proud of myself because I have been frying Sirloin and Rib Eye for a good many years and only once was it really nice.
Your flat iron steak was much better than nice, it was perfection!
We have another pack which we shall eat this coming Saturday evening. In the meantime I will probably order another 3 packs which I understand will be no courier cost also I haven’t used my 1st order 10% discount, can I use that for our next order?
